Virgiliu Dragomir Bathory Dracula was born on a stormy October night during All Hallows' Eve. His mother, the notorious countess Erzsebet Bathory, died shortly after birthing the dark child. The year is 1678, and rain was pouring from the sky, and the thunder shook the castle walls, as if though the heavens were crying out in agony. The wind, howling between the towers like wolves of legend, pulled the branches of darken tree. And flashes of lighting of Thor's mighty hammer lit up the sky repeatedly. And then, at last, the cries of an infant echoing across the halls of Castle Dracula - perched dangerously close to the precipice of a deep cliff. And following the baby's cries were the last words of the wicked vampiress' cursing the king of Vampyres, putting blame on him as she slowly faded into little but a dried ashen corpse. As her undead body gave dead life, her own fleeted. 

And so, the mighty Dracula watched his lover perish, knowing who truly was responsible, and he would make the culprit pay. With rage burning in his core, he would doom the killer to eternal suffering and isolation - locked away far into the catacombs beneath the castle. And the master vampyre could then teach his newborn child to become a true prince of darkness. Manners, battle strategy, sword fighting, tactical analysis, language. The list went on. Day in and day out, the child studied all he needed to know. All that Dracula thought he needed to know, at least. Always a lot, but never quite enough. The child wanted to know more. To learn more. He became greedy and thirsty for knowledge. For power. A thirst became a craving. A lust. Desire. Passion. Jealousy. Hatred. Virgiliu wanted to learn all of his father's secrets. But Dracula denied him that pleasure. Although the boy wanted nothing but to please his father, and show him that he was a worthy heir, Dracula saw the boy's greed and it frightened him. Not fear for himself, but the boy's own safety. Because one of Dracula's deepest secrets was that Virgiliu was not his first born.

Enter, Thanatos, true heir to Dracula. First born, and elder half brother of Virgiliu. Thanatos too had craved power, so much so as to attempt overthrowing the king of vampyres himself. A feud that had ended in the death of Erzsebet Bathory, Virgiliu's mother. And when the boy finally learned that darken truth, something within him emerged. His shapes twisted into a horrid monster of pure rage, and in a fit of passion he released the brother who had killed his mother. All out of hatred for his father. But as often happens when you act upon rage, things did not go according to plan...

Virgil's favourite colours are crimson and burgundy - shades of blood.

He is very polite and is usually dressed in unique, but formal, clothing.

He's fluent in English, German, Romanian, Latin, French, Turkish, and Russian.

And he can come off as quite self-centred and arrogant.

When you first meet him, he acts friendly and helpful, 

but if one pays attention it becomes apparent just how much like his father he truly is.

Although Virgiliu never knew his mother Erzsébet, as she died during childbirth,  he still holds her memory close to his heart. He likes to think that he got his humanity from his mother, whom she herself was once human.

Vladimir 'Vlad Tepes' Dracula III, 1800, precise date unknown.

Virgiliu's relationship to his father is complicated to say the least. he loves, and hates, his father. He very much admires him, but despises his ruthlessness - both towards other people, and his own children.

Mircea II 'Thanatos' Dracula, 1980(?), precise date unknown.

In October 1759, Virgiliu was first introduced to Thanatos' grave by their father. Later the same day, Virgiliu released his imprisoned brother. Their relationship is also very complicated. Virgiliu looks up to his brother, loves him. But like their father, he's too ruthless. But his love for Thanatos is stronger than his love for Dracula, and thus he sides with Thanatos in the family dispute.

1: Try to avoid one-liner replies.

2: There might, and probably will, be violence, strong language, sexual activities, gore, etc. If you are easily triggered by any of those, be cautious.

3: Virgil can be sort of bipolar in a way, because of his former "evil" past, it does not have anything to do with me, or you as people.

4: IMPORTANT If we engage in role play, know that what our characters actions will have influence on Virgil's future. That is, all comment role plays are canon. Do you not wish this to be the case, refrain from comments and move to the the personal chat. If you have questions about this, feel free to ask in a private message.

5: Try not to control my character. Would we engage in action role play, it'll be okay to control Virgil to some extent, but remember that I will always be the one to control Virgil's physical decisions, thoughts, and words.

6: And remember that he is the son of Dracula (the king of vampires). So although, he might not be very old and experienced, he's far more powerful than any turned vampire. He's vampire by blood after all. The purest form. This does not mean that he is invincible in any way, but if your character challenges him - keep this in mind.

7: Virgil can't die. He's already dead. But it is possible to incapacitate him. And if your character wants to know how, he, she or 'it' will have to ask Dracula, as he once incapacitated Virgil's older half brother Thanatos - who was later woken by Virgil, as referred to in the origin story.

8: Virgil's origin is still under construction, so if any information Virgil would give your character would later change, take that as Virgil not remembering fully, or hiding the truth. As an example: Originally Virgil's mother was killed by a hunter, but this later changed to it being Thanatos, Virgil's half brother.

9: Dracula's children, past, and family is sort of a mystery. Both, perhaps, to you and to Virgil. The collection of family portraits will grow as Virgil comes in contact with more family members. There will also be a small text explain when this contact was established.

10: If you are playing a proclaimed child of Dracula, know that the only children of Dracula that will be canonically Dracula's kids are the ones confirmed by the player of Dracula, whom I know personally. Would I doubt that you are confirmed to be Dracula's child, I can easily find out whether it is true or not.

11: If you are looking to establish a deeper bond with Virgil, it all depends on Virgil's preferences and feelings. But know that Virgil cannot have children.
